Beacon Group Seeks CFO Board Director

The Beacon Group is a non-profit organization that creates employment opportunities for over 1,800 people with disabilities annually in Arizona. Beacon provides direct services such as job placement and has several businesses that employ people with disabilities, including contract manufacturing and facilities services. We serve people with all types of disabilities; the two most common are developmental and behavioral health. Our annual budget is just under $25 million and our pre-COVID paycheck count was over 800 each pay period. We were founded in 1952 and are very strong financially.

Beacon Group is looking for a new Board Director from the finance accounting world, preferably with CFO experience. In addition to serving on the Board, the Director would be on our Audit and Finance Committee. That Committee provides guidance in issues including our financial audit, 401K plans, employee benefits, investments, debt financing, and insurance. 

The time commitment is not heavy. We usually have six one to two hour Board Meetings annually and the Audit and Finance Committee meets about the same amount of time. There may also be one or two additional activities each year.
