Bob McGill

Bob McGill, CFO @ HDS Companies will discuss how Accounting & Finance people can use financial information to lead their organization to new levels and gain competitive advantage.

Most of us are outstanding at providing accurate financial reports, maintaining quality business controls & managing accounting processes, but can our organizations benefit from more of our leadership? Bob will show, how using our unique perspectives, skills, & experience, Finance/Accounting people are in a special position to influence their organizations. He will discuss the “Information Hierarchy” and how we can gain influence which can drive action in our companies.  He hopes this will discussion will not only educate, but more importantly, challenge each of us to step up our leadership.

Tony Finley, CFO for the Long Companies, a Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate, will lead an interactive discussion on the increasing impact of cyber security on CFO’s and financial leaders.

Companies of all sizes are at risk to the growing threat of cyber breaches, ransomware and data loss.  What are the risks and more importantly, what are the costs?

Cyber threats are attracted by one specific reason – money. As financial leaders, safeguarding the financial assets of the company is a primary responsibility.

Cyber Security is an unavoidable expense and can result in significant expenses on our P&Ls.  Knowing what questions to ask is just the start of the process.
