How to protect your IP (Intellectual Property) and what to do if it is stolen.

You have heard and maybe felt the ongoing stress of identity theft, credit cards being taken out in your name and even second mortgages on your real estate. While that is an ongoing concern for you and your staff, the single biggest payday for cybercriminals is Intellectual Property (IP) theft. In most cases, this type of theft does not require reporting to a government agency. Yet, it is the single biggest loss a company can suffer and most difficult to react to. Most people think IP is engineering drawings and design they create or are entrusted, yet those in that space that do not use drawings or design in their normal course of business also have IP, such as employee and customer lists. All companies have this information and should value it highly.

This Lunch and Learn will help you determine what happens and what action you can take to slow down, if not prevent such information from being taken before, during and after the event.
