FEAT introduced a new benefit two years ago which proved to be of great value to our members: The Lunch & Learn Series. These programs are designed to provide lunch sessions with a smaller group of FEAT members, in which a financial or business related topic is presented by an expert, then discussed among the group. Each event is sponsored by the host, so the program and lunch are free to attendees.

The next session our in our series will feature Mergers & Acquisitions: Practical lessons for the CFO

Buying and selling business operations, assets and intellectual property are tremendous opportunities for Chief Financial Officers to leverage their expertise on behalf of their organizations.  On either side of the transaction, the importance of correct valuations, contractual language and strategic vision cannot be understated.

Join FEAT and attorney Patrick Farrell of Gust Rosenfeld, PLC on Wednesday, March 21st for an informative discussion of the key considerations, common pitfalls and best practices in navigating business divestitures, mergers and acquisitions.  Patrick will share with our group the lessons he’s learned in over 40 years of legal practice, ranging from corporate litigation to business formation, real estate transactions and estate/probate scenarios.
