Workforce Development:
The importance of educational reimbursement

According to a recent report, Arizona ranks 48th in per-pupil spending. Furthermore, Pima Community College has had their state funding slashed to zero for the last several years, while the Joint Technical Education District almost suffered a similar fate. In the meantime, businesses right here in Southern Arizona are suffering the consequences of undereducated employees, many of whom have no viable way to access education in order to jump-start their careers. So, Howard thinks that it’s up to Tucson’s business community to make things happen, in order to help these employees, as well as to help our own businesses.

Join Howard Stewart on his presentation “Building your organization’s workforce of the future.” This presentation should help you to navigate the challenges of creating and implementing a successful in-house educational reimbursement program for your own business.

Key Takeaway’s

  • Learn about the educational challenges that your fellow business owners are facing, as well as what we can do about it.
  • Develop a corporate educational reimbursement program, where both the business and the employees will reap the rewards of higher education and smarter employees.
  • Learn various ways that your company can become more profitable and more efficient—all at a low cost to your company!
