Understanding Employee Financial Wellness and Your Fiduciary Responsibilities as CFO

Join FEAT and Wellspring Financial Partners at Vivace on Wednesday, January 23rd for our first Lunch and Learn in 2019!

We are proud to be kicking off the new year with Patrick Zumbusch, the Founder and CEO of Wellspring Financial Partners!

Join FEAT and Pat as we discuss the state of employee financial wellness and the impact that financially informed and confident employees make within your business – and most importantly, how CFOs can help their organizations cultivate a culture of financial health amongst their workforce.

From a recent PWC study, 30% of employees are distracted by their finances at work and 46% of distracted employees say they spend three hours or more at work each week dealing with issues related to their personal finances.  For a company of 1000 employees this equates to roughly 19,440 hours lost work per year and $330,000 of lost productivity.  Furthermore, studies have found that employees that are stressed financially have higher healthcare costs and are substantially less productive due to the distraction of financial uncertainty.  These findings explain why one of the most requested additional employee benefits is financial coaching, and even educated employees request help/validation from a professional in making their major financial decisions.

Join us to learn the key elements of an effective financial wellness program, as well as your fiduciary responsibilities in selecting, offering and administering a retirement plan portfolio for your workforce.

This month’s presentation should inspire much discussion for CFOs and financial professionals alike - we encourage you to RSVP early, as space will be limited!

FEAT Lunch & Learn Series programs are members-only sessions with a smaller group of FEAT members, in which a financial or business related topic is presented by an expert, then discussed among the group. Each event is sponsored by the host, so the program and lunch is free to attendees.
